Officials say two Commack High School students have been diagnosed with the bacterial infection MRSA.
On its website, the Commack School District says the infections were treated and the students are back in school.
The information was posted on Oct. 9.
The district says it has disinfected gym areas and showers.
MRSA is a staph infection that is resistant to some common antibiotics.
