An 18-year-old man was killed, and two other people were injured in a shooting in Eastchester Sunday morning, according to the NYPD.

Police responded to a 911 call for a shooting at 1710 E 233rd St at 5:42 a.m.

When officers arrived, they found 18-year-old Werling Mendez with a gunshot wound to the head and two other people wounded.

Mendez was transported by private means to BronxCare Health System in critical condition, where he was later pronounced dead.

The four other victims, including a 20-year-old woman shot in the foot and a 22-year-old man shot in the chest, were taken to NYC Health and Hospitals / Jacobi in stable condition.

A 25-year-old woman and a 37-year-old woman were also hospitalized in stable condition after being robbed of their wallets and chains, according to police sources.

Police sources also confirm the shooting stemmed from a car meetup.
