Former Rep. Lee Zeldin spoke to News 12's Rich Barrabi in an exclusive interview a day after announcing the creation of his new political action committee.
Zeldin says his goal is to help Republican candidates across the country make inroads into minority communities by talking about commonsense issues that affect everyone.
Following his run for New York governor, Zeldin says he still has political aspirations.
"I believe there is another re-entry into government in the future," Zeldin said.
