A former Centereach youth pastor pleaded not guilty Friday to charges he had a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old student.
Rodney Jackson Jr. was also a teacher at Our Savior New American School in Centereach. The Suffolk District Attorney?s Office says the affair began at the school.
The school offered no comment on the charges, but says Jackson, 29, was not asked back to the school after the 2005-2006 school year.
Jackson is being held on $150,000 bail.
