Police say they found a young girl alone on Fordham Road on Monday night.

They say she is about 10 to 13 years old, 5’2” and 80 pounds.

Workers at a neighborhood market say the young girl broke into the plastic covering outside the market. One worker described the girl as looking disoriented.

Police say the girl was found wearing a pink sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and black sandals.

She was taken to the hospital and is OK.

Police say the girl was reunited with family around 12:30 pm. It is still unknown how the girl got to Fordham Road and why she was without adult supervision
