Yorktown is waging a war against litterbugs through a new law.
Drivers who are caught on camera littering can be fined up to $500.
Yorktown Supervisor Michael Grace is among the first people to back the town's new camera littering law, one of the first of its kind in Westchester County.
"We get a lot of complaints, and there's a lot of time and resources on cleaning it up. I don't know how many tons we pick up every spring cleanup. It's absolutely amazing," he says.
Town officials say every $500 fine they collect will pretty much pay for the cost of one more litter camera.
