Yonkers Public Schools is looking to shift to four in-person instruction days for hybrid students, starting in a matter of weeks.
The school district has begun planning for the change, which could take effect as early as April 5.
Two meetings were held last week with the district's bargaining unit leadership and the Yonkers Council of PTA to discuss options.
The superintendent of schools says they are putting the health and safety of students and staff members first, and that they'll continue to rigorously follow all current guidance from the county Health Department and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
