Fourteen Long Island schools have been named "Schools of Excellence."

The ranking comes from the National Parent and Teachers Association.

A total of 330 schools in New York made the list.

The group analyzes how well the PTA attracts new members and opportunities for schools. Here's the list of Long Island schools:

• Meadow Drive PTA, Albertson

• Meadow School PTA, Baldwin

• Plaza Elementary PTA, Baldwin

• Blue Point School PTA, Blue Point

• Deauville Gardens West PTA, Copiague

• Candlewood Middle School PTA, Dix Hills

• McVey PTA, East Meadow

• John Lewis Childs School PTA, Floral Park

• H. Frank Carey High School PTSA, Franklin Square

• Waverly Ave PTA, Holtsville

• West Hollow Middle School PTA, Melville

• Hampton Street PTA, Mineola

• Seaford Harbor PTA, Seaford

• Seaford Manor PTA, Seaford
