A Glen Cove gang member has been sentenced to two decades in jail for a drive-by killing.

Yonis Acosta-Yanes was sentenced Monday to 20 years in prison, according to Newsday.



Yanes is an MS-13 gang member convicted of shooting a rival gangster rival on Washington Avenue in Hempstead in 2008.

Yanes is also linked to a plot to kill another rival, but he was arrested before the killing could be carried out.
