The Yankees have announced a sale of memorabilia from the old Yankee Stadium. Chief operating officer Lonn Trost announced that seats are going for $1,500 a pair and $1,999 for specific pairs through Yankees-Steiner Collectibles, cheaper than the top single-game ticket price at the new ballpark.
Trost also announced Tuesday that demolition of the old Yankee Stadium is set to begin in June.
AP wire services were used in this report.
