A 17-year-old from Wyandanch was fatally shot early Sunday morning during a party.
According to authorities, a brawl broke out outside a party on Cumberbach Street. Jerome Hamilton was trying to mediate between the two groups when he was shot in the chest.
Police are urging anyone with information to call 1-800-220-TIPS.
