Over a dozen Wyandanch students were given early Christmas gifts from a generous teacher.

Nine students received new computers and 10 others were given new sneakers for achieving academic success.

Shen-Wei Wu teaches the school's computer gaming class and paid for the gifts himself.

The winners of the gifts were required to write essays to be considered and read the essays to the class at a presentation.
