The Wyandanch School Board will bring in a special counsel to conduct an independent investigation into an alleged grade fixing scandal at Milton L. Olive Middle School.

The allegations coincided with the reassignments of school Principal Dr. Shannon Burton and Vice Principal Kimberly Clinton.

Multiple sources say state test scores were inflated. Hundreds of grades might have been affected.

The school recently had its state rating upgraded from “academically struggling” to “good standing.”

Assistant Superintendent Christine Jordan was not present at Wednesday night's school board meeting.

Sources say she was involved in a widely reported grade fixing scandal in Queens in 2015.
