Fears of a second coronavirus wave could bring a return of toilet paper shortages.
According to a Wall Street Journal article, people have started stockpiling cleaning products and paper goods once again.
Paper towel shortages have been a problem since July.
Clorox says it's still increasing production of disinfectant wipes but that it still won't meet demand.
A recent poll by Sports & Leisure Research Group found slightly more than half of Americans already have or plan to stockpile food and other essentials.
According to the poll, they're concerned that a second wave of COVID-19 could lead to another lockdown on businesses.
The pandemic has also changed grocery stores' inventory planning for the fall and winter months.
Experts in the supermarket industry say the main reason for the supply shortage back in March was hoarding. That's why they're encouraging people to be prepared, but not scared.
