People with disabilities should now find getting around Hempstead Lake State Park easier.
Workers have completed a project to make two miles of trails more accessible.
The $47 million project also included work at the Northern Ponds Complex to help with flood risk and to reduce pollution.
Four million dollars was also spent to stabilize a 150-year-old dam to improve safety.
