Crews have rescued a man who was trapped after falling several feet into a manhole today.
It happened on Earle Ovington Boulevard in East Garden City.
According to Nassau police, a Verizon worker fell off a ladder into the manhole. He was knocked unconscious but eventually came to.
The worker was transported to an area hospital. There is currently no word on his condition.
