It’s Women’s History Month and we are highlighting some local women making an impact on Long Island.

Brooke Nichols, an apprentice plumber in Plumbers Local 200 joined News 12.

Nichols is one of just four women out of the entire union.

The skilled trades is a male-dominated field but more and more women are choosing this route for their careers.
