Officials say a woman lost control and slammed into a house in Centereach.

According to police, the woman hit the home’s garage on Elwood Road.

Police say there were four people home at the time, but no one was hurt.

There is no word on why the woman lost control.

The Brookhaven Town building inspector has been called to the scene to check the stability of the house.
