Woman killed crossing street in Hempstead

A 55-year-old woman was killed Friday while crossing the street in Hempstead.

Police say a car hit Corline Cameau as she was crossing Peninsula Boulevard near West Graham Avenue.

The 25-year-old driver has not been charged.
