A Thanksgiving night car crash in Lake Success has left a woman in serious condition.

Police say a 2003 Acura was traveling west on the Long Island Expressway near exit 32 around midnight. They say the vehicle then stopped on the roadway, and was then rear-ended by a second Acura. A third car was also involved in the crash.

A woman in the third car was knocked unconscious and is now in serious condition.

There was no word on why the initial vehicle stopped on the LIE.
