Police say they had to drive head-on into an East Rockaway woman's car to stop her from driving the wrong-way on the Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway.
Maureen Hamilton is facing a number of charges including aggravated DWI. Police say they received multiple calls warning them that Hamilton was heading south in the northbound lanes of Route 135 early this morning.
Officers bumped her car with theirs between exits 8 and 7 in Bethpage to get her to stop.
No one was injured.
