Looking for something for kids of all ages? The Cradle of Aviation's arcade exhibit might be just the ticket.
It's game on at The Arcade Age exhibit at the museum in Garden City. Visitors can play over 50 vintage arcade games such as Donkey Kong, Space Invaders, Spy Hunter and Frogger.
As part of the exhibit you can learn about the history and technology of games. According to Seamus Keane, of the museum, a nuclear physicist at Brookhaven Labs in the 50s created an analog system that was the basis for the first video games.
All of the games are free to play with museum admission, so don't worry about bringing a bag of quarters.
