A popular toy company is recalling one of their products due to risk of serious injury from a choking hazard.

Melissa & Doug‘s Lights & Sounds Fire Truck Activity Board poses a choking hazard, because the fire hose port can come loose and detach, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The company says affected units of the item, which is sold exclusively at Target, will have one arrow pointing to the number 25 and the second arrow pointing to the number 4 or 5 or they will have one arrow pointing to the number 26 and the second arrow pointing to the number 3.

Date codes for the recalled units are OET 25100, OET 25150 or OET 26064 and are printed on the product packaging.

Consumers are advised to stop using the toy immediately and register on their website for a free replacement, full $30 refund, or a $40 store credit.

The truck was sold at Target stores nationwide and online at Target.com from July 2025 through August 2026, according to the Connecticut-based company.
