Connecticut's reopening guidelines work differently depending on whether you're opening a gym, community center, or public pool. But staff at the Westport-Weston Family YMCA say they're operating all of those and more.
CEO Pat Riemersma says regulars will notice the first changes as they walk into the building, where you'll get your temperature checked.
Members can access the pool and fitness center for workouts or free swim again, provided they sign up online ahead of time. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention say pools don't pose any special risk for spreading the coronavirus.

But swimming lessons will have to wait so that social distancing can be maintained. Officials say they're hoping to resume swim lessons and other activities sometime next month.
Fitness classes like aerobics are also back this week.
"But none of those are in the studio, they're all in the gym. Because we have to comply, and are complying, with the 12-feet distance," says Riemersma.
Riemersma says nobody seems to mind the new restrictions. She says members and staff are just excited to be back.
"They're all happy to be here, so they're very happy to have their facemask on," she says. "Through their eyes you can see their smile."
