Westchester County Executive George Latimer has unveiled a $2.5 billion budget proposal for 2025.
The plan includes funding for affordable housing, public safety, economic development and tourism, with no property tax hike for the sixth consecutive year.
Latimer presented the proposal to County Legislature Chairman Vidat Gashi.
The legislature's budget committee will review the plan starting next week, followed by three public hearings and a hoped-for December vote.
