A Westbury woman has been arrested for allegedly entering a New Cassel home and threatening another woman with a knife in her bedroom, according to police.

Police say the incident happened around 10 a.m. on Saturday on Whittier Street.

When the victim attempted to call 911, 28-year-old Jennifer Carrera Aguilar slapped the phone out of her hand.

Police say Aguilar hurt an officer when resisting arrest.

Aguilar is facing multiple charges.
