Westbury man sentenced to 6 years in prison for selling narcotics, possessing explosives

A Westbury man who admitted to selling drugs and having explosive materials inside his home will spend six years behind bars.

According to investigators, Anthony Gianatiempo, 35, was selling drugs in a Nassau County park before his home was raided.

Officers recovered fentanyl, heroin, cocaine, ketamine and a powerful synthetic opioid from inside his home.

Police say Gianatiempo was also in possession of smokeless powder and tubes wrapped with fuses.
