A man and woman were allegedly found with various narcotics and drug paraphernalia in Nassau County.

Narcotics/Vice Squad Detectives made the discovery while they were conducting an investigation into a non-fatal overdose of a Nassau resident in Wantagh on Thursday.

Jack Acquafredda, 23, of Bellerose Terrace, had almost a dozen different kinds of controlled substances at his residence, police say.

Cocaine, MDMA, psilocybin mushrooms, ketamine, LSD and flavored vapes were just some of the drugs recovered during the search.

Additionally, detectives tell News 12 they found over $30,000 in cash, believed to be proceeds from drug transactions, as well as a switchblade knife, a money counter, multiple scales and assorted drug packaging materials in the home.

Following the investigation, Persephone Abert, 22, of New Hyde Park, was also placed under arrest.

Both individuals will be charged with varying degrees of criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal sale of a controlled substance, and criminal possession of a weapon when they are arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Friday.

Acquafredda faces extra counts of each charge.
