A West Bablyon man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for stabbing his wife in front of their children.
The man's name is not being released to protect the victim, who prosecutors say was assaulted because she wanted a divorce.
They say the couple 5-year-old and 11-year-old daughters saw it happen.
The man was convicted of attempted murder.
