The new High Score Pinball Arcade in the Westfield South Shore Mall in Bay Shore has people bringing their 'A' game.

Melissa Cerquin, of High Score Pinball Arcade, says it's an old-school arcade with the main focus being pinball machines. There are more than 50 machines and each one has a different theme. The machines range from the 1970s up to 2020.

Pricing includes $7 for 15 minutes or less, $10 for 30 minutes, $15 for an hour or $25 for an all-day pass.

"Safety is our number one concern," says Cerquin. "We sanitize the machines multiple times a day. We also have hand sanitizing stations literally next to every machine."

Cerquin, 29, is a first-generation Peruvian American, and says she takes a lot of pride in that.

She was able to take her passion for gaming and turn it into something fun for everyone to enjoy.
