East 157th Street will be closed both Saturday and Sunday between Gerard and River avenues. River Avenue will also be closed nearby for roadwork between East 153rd and 158th streets both days.
The closures will take place from 5 a.m. until 9 p.m.
If taking mass transit, there will be no 4 trains between 149th Street-Grand Concourse and Woodlawn, and no 5 train service between East 180th Street and Dyre Avenue.
