Light snow is falling across Long Island and will continue through the afternoon.
News 12 Long Island meteorologists say to be alert for wet, slick roads.
A coating to 1 inch is expected with some spots on the South Shore getting possibly 1 to 2 inches. Most snow will accumulate on colder surfaces.
Highs will be near 38 degrees today.
