WHAT'S NEW: A powerful storm moves into the Northeast Thursday into Friday, bringing a lot of hazards to the region, with Long Island seeing heavy rain, strong gusts and a concern for coastal flooding. After the system leaves, temps DROP heading into the Christmas weekend.
WHAT'S NEXT: After the storm leaves us, we will have to deal with bitterly cold air for Christmas Weekend, with feels like temps very frigid! Temps don't bounce back to normal levels until close to New Year's Eve.
