They will briefly start as a wintry mix (across Nassau County) then quickly change to all rain by the evening commute with the winds picking up through the rest of the day. Avg. high: 45. Highs: mid 40s. Lows: low 40s (temps rise through the overnight hours into Friday).

FRIDAY: Weather To Watch – Steady showers with batches of moderate to heavy rain and windy conditions. Expect a Northeast wind of 20-45 mph. Highs: upper 40s to low 50s. Lows: mid 30s.
