STORM WATCH: Rain, snow to impact early and evening commutes on Wednesday

There will be periods of rain and snow all day Wednesday.
News 12 Storm Watch Team meteorologist Addison Green says the early and evening commutes will be impacted. There are likely to be slushy accumulations on the north side of Long Island and mainly rain for the south side.
Thursday and Friday will be calm with highs around 48 degrees.
There will be more rain to kick off the weekend.
Saturday will see periods of moderate to heavy rain. Green says there could be a changeover to snow by the evening.
It will be mostly sunny but cooler for Sunday with highs near 38 degrees.
