News 12 Storm Watch Meteorologist Sam Augeri warmth and humidity return for Wednesday and Thursday.
RAINFALL: Some minor flooding possible as the bulk of the rain moves into Suffolk County. Showers and storms should taper off and end from west to east by 8 p.m. Nassau County picked up close to 3" on the South Shore where the flash flood warning popped up.
WEATHER TO WATCH: Friday for a good chance for showers and storms with locally heavy rainfall.
RIP CURRENTS: Moderate risk Wednesday
AIR QUALITY: Good to moderate with some haze from time to time
TROPICS: Don restrengthened to a tropical storm and will stay out to sea with no local impact.
