Weather: Heat advisory issued as September temps soar
Expect hot and humid conditions for Tuesday on Long Island.
The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for most of Long Island through Tuesday evening.
Following warm overnight hours with lows in the 70s, News 12 meteorologists say Tuesday will see hazy sunshine with sizzling highs ranging from 87-93 degrees.

For Wednesday, it'll be sunny, warm and muggy with a chance for afternoon showers and storms. Highs will be in the upper-80s.
And Thursday will be another hot and humid day with a chance for evening showers or storms before it gets a little cooler on Friday.
