Take it, you know, today, I'm calling it for a good ish day now because you're not going to be seeing the wet weather and notice our silver lining here, 60 degrees. That's nice and very warm, big departure for December 2nd. And uh we are noticing the trend also heading into the pre dawn hours into tomorrow. Now by tomorrow afternoon, you'll definitely need those umbrellas, a lighter jacket alert for sure. Today, what to wear looks like that um, umbrella for tomorrow's soggy on and off showers all day and heading into dinner time. That's when things really start to improve. But a seasonal return once again, specifically Wednesday into Thursday, as we walk you through our future cast, the clouds are here and they will continue to stay with us thickening and also gradually building to more shower activity heading into overnight at first light, but then we have these rounds of rain. So, you know, not everyone gets to see them and experience them all at once, but their heavier pockets also embedded as early as eight and seven o'clock in the morning. You'll notice Brooklyn, you kinda see that, especially when we're talking about heading towards the afternoon time frame. So after 12 o'clock, that's when we can start to notice a bit more of those moderate heavier pockets, the contours of the deeper um, greens, as well as oranges and yellows. We're gonna need those umbrellas handy all day tomorrow. So be mindful of that accessory by four o'clock, things really lighten up and the showers seem like they kind of exit. But, you know, we are left with the clouds still at bay. So it's kind of a bit more of a damp start heading into Monday. Nice, beautiful clearing and the sunshine is back into play as we start off the next week. Now, as far as rain total, it looks like this. So three quarters of an inch close to an inch for some spots, very localized. I'm not very concerned about localized flooding. Uh but because it seems to be such kind of like nuisance rain, it's just gonna be a rainy day and that's something to just be mindful about. By Tuesday, Wednesday, we get back into the forties and as we start off Hanukkah on Thursday, we are expecting drier conditions and high temperatures into the forties. Much more like December.

And gray. But we could potentially be seeing a little bit of the sunshine shining on across Western Connecticut later this afternoon. Notice the winds nice and calm, but that's also gonna be a recipe for some overnight fog forming and notice how different our temperatures look for tomorrow. Big changes here. So yeah, we do start off mild and we noticed a little movement when it comes to those temperatures just staying stuck right around the forties. But notice also that I changing the winds will become a bit more active and yes, we could expect several rounds of rain, no major big accumulations, but it's going to be a little bit of that nuisance rain with some heavier pockets. So if you're traveling along interstate 95 regardless of its north or south, you could encounter some pockets of showers for tomorrow and things definitely are going to start to settle back down with some better clearing for your Monday as far as rain forecast and what we could expect in the coming days. Well, after tomorrow showers are looking and trending a bit more dry, but we are watching here in the weather center, the potential for some showers and a little bit of that wintry mix coming back into play on Wednesday. So that's really the day that we're also going to continue to focus on in the coming days as we fine tune the temperatures as well as the precipitation trends. Heading into December 12th. So many winters without snow. So what's behind this, what's been behind it is mainly just been two things really our weather patterns and just the shift in any of these storm systems that they've been shifting just a bit more to the south or east or to the north and east, which has been the trend for the last couple of years has been bringing in rain because of the warm sector of these storm systems instead of giving us any kind of snow. So unfortunately, we just kind of drew the short stick, but this year, we are hoping for a little bit better Tama, but at least for right now that's not going to be happening for us. We are looking outside at a gorgeous sunset over in Tarrytown and that is going to be leading to a system of rain. That's right. We're still not gonna be dealing with any kind of snow forest just yet, but we are going to start to see a rain once again by the time we get into our Sunday. So taking a look outside as of right now for our radar, things are gonna be dry but cloudy across the board, even fog is going to develop overnight. So the next 12 hours just be mindful. It's gonna be cloudy but dry and rather mild for this time of year, temperature steady into the upper forties. And we are gonna be seeing that rain developing rather late mainly overnight from our Saturday into our Sunday morning. So make sure you have your umbrella and rain gear ready to go. And if you just wanna stay indoors and watch movies, it's gonna be a great day to do that as well, especially if you haven't put up any of your holiday decorations just yet. Sunday morning, Sunday afternoon, we're expecting rain showers could potentially see some brief heavy spouts and then we have a brief little break in our rain as well early into our Sunday afternoon, but it's still gonna be on and off showers throughout much of our Sunday heading into our Sunday nights before clearing. By the time we get to our Monday morning, a half to three quarters of an inch of rainfall is what we're expecting across the board, especially towards Yonkers and White Plains inching closer to that three quarters of rainfall. But for the days ahead, the rain is mainly gonna be Sunday and then we're looking for a dry trend and on top of it, a chilly trend heading into next week. Quick look at our 10 day forecast. Monday looks to be one of the warmer spots and then forties and even upper thirties for Hanukkah.

It's gonna cool down again in the 10 day. Let's talk about the bigger issue, which is going to be the rain tomorrow. So we do have cloudy skies all weekend, obviously a fog out there this morning too. So that's creating some visibility issues. But on Sunday, it is a steady rain for a good chunk of the day. So today is the pick out of the weekend. There'll be some peaks of sunshine this afternoon around lunch, but not much of it. Temperatures are in the mid ff maybe even upper fifties if we get enough sunshine, but I would not count on the sun. It's gonna be a possibility that we, you got a few breaks in the clouds, but most of the day is pretty cloudy. This is 5 p.m. the sun is already set and temperatures are still in the fifties. So you don't need the heavy winter jacket. Just a light jacket. Today will do dinner time is mainly dry, but after 89 o'clock, there could be some spritzes and stray showers. It's a all day full LG wash out on Sunday, light rain in the morning, check this out. Temperatures are in the fifties in the morning, that's above average for the afternoon at this point in the year. But we don't warm up on Sunday. It's gonna stay 50 all day with this very persistent, very steady and very damp rain that just sticks around until I'd say about six o'clock or so. So, if you have any brunch lunch, early dinner plans Sunday, I just don't see a lot of opportunity for dry time for you here. So we're gonna keep that in mind. Temperatures are not bad all the way through Monday. We're hanging out in the fifties. Today's high of 56 is the warmest that we've actually seen since mid November morning. Lows are in the forties, so no worries about frost. No worries about cold when you're stepping out the door. Tuesday morning, we're back down to 36. So that's kind of setting the stage for a cooler upcoming work week, 46 there, 43 on Wednesday and 42 on Thursday. It's not the coldest set we've seen, but it is definitely pretty chilly for that first night of Hanukkah. Expected to definitely feel like it is December, but we rebound a little bit next weekend with another chance for some rain. Just a little heads up on that. But the work week does look dry. Not that we want to talk about the work week on a Saturday, but that's how it's shaping up

Well, let's get a check of your local weather with Storm March team. Meteorologist Hilda Estevez. Hilda. Yes. Sah. So we are talking, you know, significant a warmth, especially for today. They're quite big of a departure for December 2nd, you know, approximately 10 to 15 degrees above where we should be for this time. Also, we're expecting a soggy Sunday on and off rain showers and they're exiting sooner than anticipated. And that is a good thing because that means that we have a drier at evening and heading into dinner time as well. Seasonal return on Wednesday, Thursday and notice our rain chances pretty consistent and very well up there, close to 100% well into the morning and even beyond lunchtime. So it's rounds of rain. So we could expect to see this continuing and lingering into five o'clock. Now, when it's all said and done, approximately seven o'clock, I think is for sure the exit time for all this rainy weather and we're expecting close to an inch of rainfall when it's all said and done. Now, we are expecting to see some more showers possibly forming for Wednesday and some snow flakes and that potential comes also with a cooler temperature. So today, enjoy this amazing warming trend. Close to 60 degrees 730 brings those clouds thickening and building. Of course, once again in those showers, arriving into the overnight, a little bit later on the onset of them. And then of course, they are a bit more widespread right around seven o'clock tomorrow, heavier in points. South Newark also getting there by nine, we notice that it's a bit more progressive and intensity all throughout the state. And by 12 o'clock, we notice things lightening up for central and northern New Jersey staying pretty consistent and a bit more bulked in that portion of the state. Now that exits right around four and five o'clock and we're left with some clouds gradually clearing out, heading into the evening and overnight time frame.
