Warm, dry through Friday before showers move in to start the weekend

WHAT'S NEW: There's still some haze and smoke in the sky from wildfires, but conditions should improve late Thursday. Expect warm, dry weather through Friday with more of a summer feel.
WHAT'S NEXT: Changes for the weekend. The weather is trending a little bit cooler and unsettled. The first round of showers will arrive Saturday morning with hit and miss showers lingering Sunday and even into Monday. It will all depend how close an area of low pressure over the ocean gets to us.

FRIDAY: Mostly sunny and very warm with highs near 82. Chance for a shower or storm by the evening and overnight. Lows near 57.
