Thousands of angry Walmart workers staged Black Friday protests on Long Island and across the nation.
Protesters rallied in front of numerous Walmart stores in the U.S.
They claim employees aren't making livable wages, even though they are working for the nation's richest retailers.
Protesters called for $15-an-hour salaries.
Right now, the average associates' salary is under $12.
Friday morning's protests included a rally at the East Meadow Walmart on Hempstead Turnpike.
