Wake held for FDNY firefighter from Point Lookout who died in accident

A wake was held tonight for the FDNY firefighter from Point Lookout who died last week after a fall in Queens.

A wake was held for the FDNY firefighter from Point Lookout who died last week after a fall while off duty in Queens.
Visitation for Joseph Mulvey occurred between 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Christopher T. Jordan Funeral Home in Island Park.
Wakes for the 19-year veteran will also be held Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Mulvey's funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal in Point Lookout. His burial will take place shortly after in Westbury.
The FNDY has set up a scholarship fund for his children.
