Wake held for retired firefighter, voice of 9/11 health care

A wake was held Thursday for retired FDNY firefighter and Hicksville father Ray Pfeifer.
Pfeifer, 59, died Sunday from cancer related to his first responder work at ground zero on 9/11.
Pfeifer lobbied Congress to get health care funding for 9/11 first responders.
Pfeifer's wake was held at the East Meadow fire station. His funeral is scheduled for Friday at Holy Family Church in Hicksville.
