Three Brentwood schools were locked down Thursday after a violent attack occurred nearby.
The incident, believed to be a gang-related attack, took place on Stein Drive around lunchtime. A machete or sword was purportedly used in the attack.
Brentwood High, South Middle and Oak Park Elementary were the affected schools.
