Daniel Cicciaro?s family continues to react to White?s stay of sentence as John White was released from jail on $200,000 bond Thursday.

White was sentenced to 2-4 years in prison for the 2006 death of 17-year-old Cicciaro, his son?s classmate. An appellate court judge issued White a stay of sentence Wednesday while his lawyers appeal the conviction.

Cicciaro?s father says he?s outraged by the court?s decision and White?s sentence, which he says is too light. He has been accused of making a threat against White?s son while at court this week, but Daniel Cicciaro Sr. says his comments were taken out of context. Police are patrolling White?s Miller Place neighborhood to monitor any activity.

Some neighbors say justice has not been served in the case.
