Police are searching for the vandals who scrawled swastikas on a Cedarhurst sidewalk.
News 12 Long Island has learned two swastikas were drawn in chalk on the sidewalk of two consecutive blocks of Oxford Road. One swastika was found Monday just before 5 p.m. The other was found early Tuesday morning.
Community members in the Rockaway Nassau Safety Patrol say they are walking the streets to make sure it doesn't happen again.
Last January, a swastika was found etched into a glass panel at the Cedarhurst LIRR station. The panel was replaced, but someone did it again three days later.
