Firefighters responded to a fire at Wyandanch High School on Friday afternoon.
The call came in just before 2 p.m. Friday.
Officials say the fire was knocked down around 2:15 p.m.
The Wyandanch Fire Department is on the scene with assistance from six mutual-aid departments.
There is no word yet on the extent of the fire, possible injuries or what may have caused it.
