Some Massapequa residents believe their cars were specifically targeted when nearly a dozen vehicles were vandalized in the area early Wednesday morning.
Neighbors on Cameo Road say they have video of a suspect in their neighborhood just before 3 a.m., and say almost 40 cars on their block were keyed.
They say it appears the person keyed the cars on the driver's side, and then left a mark on the hood of the car. Each car got an "X" or an "O."
The 7th Precinct is investigating the vandalism and say they are carefully looking at the security video.
Police ask that anyone with information on the vandalism call Nassau County Crime Stoppers.
