A woman claims that a respected local businessman and candidate for office has been standing naked at his front door in Lindenhurst.

Victoria Lombardi drives a van carrying developmentally disabled passengers. On her morning route, she says saw Kevin Sabella, a candidate for the Babylon Town Council without any clothes on.

At first, Lombardi says she thought it was an accident but says it kept on happening.

“He would make eye contact, so I know of knew it was on purpose at that point,” Lombardi says.

In the past two months, Lombardi says it happened around 10 times between 8:20 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.

People in the neighborhood say it’s concerning considering it’s a child-friendly neighborhood.

“It’s horrendous,” says Tom Craina, of Lindenhurst. “There’s a lot of kids in the neighborhood. Very scary with kids playing in the street and stuff like that.”

Babylon Town Supervisor Rich Schaffer says he encourages Sabella to get help.

“I think he’s got a lot of serious issues that he needs to deal with and it’s probably best that he focuses on personal issues as opposed to running for the town board,” Schaffer says. “Town board takes a lot of energy and focus, so I would just recommend that he focus on those personal issues that he’s got going on.”

News 12 tried to reach Sabella, but no one answered.

Lombardi says she has filed a police report.

Police say they are looking into claims.
