Detectives say Christopher Piccoli was arguing with a woman at the hospital in Mineola Monday and refused to leave.

A Valley Stream man has been arrested and is accused of assaulting two police officers.
Detectives say Christopher Piccoli was arguing with a woman at NYU Langone Hospital in Mineola Monday and refused to leave.
News 12 has been told Piccoli became violent and hurt the officers when they tried to arrest him.
Piccoli was then tased.
The officers are expected to be OK.
Piccoli is facing several charges.
