The U.S. Department of Agriculture stated in a memo Saturday night that no one was to receive full Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits and that only partial benefits were to be issued.

After reaching out to Gov. Kathy Hochul's Office for comment, a source stated that they received the USDA memo and that, for now, New Yorkers are beginning to receive their November benefits using federal dollars.
